He uses seconde (as opposed to octave) more than I would have thought.
Don't know why that strikes me so except from his books I would have thought he'd favor a supinated low-line parry.

My Maitre was a school mate of Maitre Evangelista, and I was told that M. Evangelista had come to favor elements of the Italian school, which uses seconde more often than does the French.
