from another forum...
I got a call from Channel 3, there should be a film crew at our practice tomorrow. Please spread the word for everyone to show up in force and bring A&S projects to work on.
Fighters, let's be ready, in armor to show them what we can do as well. I'm asking everyone to make an attempt at garb so that we look good.
If all goes well, they will want a few of us to appear on the morning show, Friday morning!! We'll discuss our group and a bit of our historical knowledge.
Thanks to Paula & to George for helping to get this started, hopefully we can get some new members from all this!

Tuesday, April 27, 2010If you happen to be by the Water Gardens on Tuesday evening -- you will be treated to a fascinating history lesson. The trip back in time is made possible thanks to an organization called The Society of Creative Anachronism. They spent time with us Tuesday morning showing how they re-create European history from 650 to 1650. From sword fighting to authentic artistry. The group meets every Tuesday and welcomes folks to stop by and check them out. www.seawinds.org/
