This is still one of my favorites. Not a promotional vid in the strictest sense, but an amateur music video mix. I just really liked the music/visual mix and think it sells the excitement of fencing.

Keeping with the thread turn (that is, not strictly fencing promo vids but still on point... sorry) here is one I always enjoyed from a couple of years ago. Actually a promo for the NCAA.

Here's an interesting fencing infovid. There is a watermark for CCTV 9, with which I am unfamiliar.

Here's an interesting fencing infovid. There is a watermark for CCTV 9, with which I am unfamiliar. According to Wicki: "CCTV-9, is a news, entertainment and educational television channel originating in the People's Republic of China. It is mainland China's only 24-hour English-language TV channel."

Makes sense. I bet that vid was created in advance of the Beijing Olympics. Meanwhile, here is a commercial for the 2011 Arnold Fencing Classic.

Not a "promo," but a pretty good "intro" to modern fencing...

A fairly narrow focus and little in the way of elaboration... and that may just be its forte.

I'm a little new to this and don't understand the language, but thought this was a pretty cool vid to get folks excited about fencing.

This one starts with text in Spanish, which could be helpful in an outreach situation. I think one benefit for having one language (French) as the univeral language of fencing is that fencers in every country could/should learn the same phrases for the same concepts.

This is not a promo for fencing but for a fencing vendor. Still, it makes foil look interesting and attractive.
