It's not exactly local, but it IS interesting and fits here on the classical fencing board.Dear Swordsmen and Swordswomen, students, friends and all fencers: An invitation to join us in 25 hours of non-stop fencing! [...] Trovare Di Spada, the traditional fencing school of Midtown St. Louis, will host a 25-hour Fence-A-Thon to benefit local breast cancer treatment services. The event will be held at the All Saints Arts Community building, next door to the All Saints Catholic Church, 6419 Clemens Avenue, in University City, just north of the Delmar Loop, starting Saturday, April 28 at 7:00 a.m. and running until Sunday, April 29 at 8:00 a.m. This non-stop, sponsored fencing event will be the first of its kind in St. Louis, so please join us in making fencing history and in supporting a very worthy cause.
