Really? I have to know where you find these things out Kyle. I saw you at SWIFA 1. Maybe you asked all the right questions.

Just out of curiousity... are there any events in South Texas besides the Longhorn and the Master's that are NOT at TSU?

no, but thank you for asking... ;D Of course, from the stand point of an outsider, it IS nice to only have to remember only one or two locations for any event in the whole division.

Do we know which schools will be fencing at SWIFA #2, yet?
Katman, may I presume there will be a delegation from UH?
I also presume A&M will go, as usual...

I'll be trying to see if anybody wants to go, but most of the TSU kids will either be fencing or working, or both, at the Cat Fight Open that weekend.

That's going to be tough on the Aggies, won't it? I think that is the same weekend as the Heavy Metal tournament...

Yeah, Just got the word it's been moved to November 12, opposite the Heavy Metal. Looks like TSU will be fielding a team after all!

The TSU kids decided they'd rather fence the Heavy Metal, so we won't be fielding a team for SWIFA #2.
Also, I'm getting conflicting info. I hear it will be at the Denton Campus now. First a date change, then the location... Oh, The joys of SWIFA!

Tech showed up with an epee squad. UH had our most miserable showing yet with one and 2/3rds squads attending.
I didn't see any full results in our club's email inbox, but I do know that UH's foil squad tied for third place with UT. First was either UNT or UTSA.

A little bird told me that Tech took Epee team. If only we could fence both events...

Results! For some reason there was a Sabre individual. I omitted it. They also didn't tabulate overall team standings. Huh.
Epee: 1) Texas Tech 2) UNT 3) UNT 3) UT Foil: 1) UNT 2) UTSA 3) UT 3) UH Saber: 1) UTSA 2) UT 3) Baylor 3) UNT
