I agree that being tired would affect fencing. My point was, that here, being tired should not really have and statistically significant impact on the outcome.

Just for what it is worth, FCUH holds their annual Call to Arms in that building. It is a very nice facility.
I'll be with my own club that Saturday at our own tournament, but I will burn a candle for SWIFA 3 & 2.5
Good luck, guys!

Special Meeting of Teams & EC Meeting - 1/27/07
As SWIFA Chairman, I am calling a Special Meeting of the member teams on January 27, 2007, at 8:30 A.M. at the close of registration at SWIFA #3. The meeting will be held at the University of Houston - Recreation and Wellness Center, 4800 Calhoun Road, Houston, TX 77004. This meeting is instigated by the request of Stephen S. Reyna, the coach of the new San Antonio College Fencing Club, requesting membership for the SAC Fencing Club in SWIFA during the existing 2006-2007 competitive season. (Copy of Letter below.)
The meeting should be very short. I have already received indication from a majority of the existing member teams that they support the request, as well as adding them to the bottom of the tournament rotation list before the Annual Meeting, and proration of their entry fees for the remainder of the 2006-2007 competitive season. There are only two items on the agenda, as follows: 1)The existing member teams must vote on making a waiver of (or permanent amendment to) the requirement in Article III, b, Section 3 of the SWIFA By-Laws, to allow the new San Antonio College Fencing Club to be admitted as new member team in SWIFA prior to a vote at the next Annual Meeting. (Copy of Article below.) 2)The existing member teams must vote on making a waiver of (or permanent amendment to) the requirement in Article VIII (Tournaments), Section 2 (Rotation of Competitions), of the SWIFA By-Laws, to allow the new San Antonio College Fencing Club, as an additional member team which has been allowed to join S.W.I.F.A., to be added to the end of the tournament rotation list prior to a vote at the next Annual Meeting. (Copy of Article below.) The membership meeting will adjourn for the Executive Committee to hold a called meeting under Article V (Management by the Executive Committee), to set the entry fees for San Antonio College for the remainder of the 2006-2007 competitive season, pursuant to Article III (Membership - Dues - Competitions), b, Section 4. The Executive Committee meeting is open to the general members if they wish to attend, but is not required. (Copies of Articles below.) Kyle Maysel, SWIFA Chairman ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- December 15, 2006 Kyle W. Maysel 108 E. San Antonio San Marcos, TX.78666
Dear Kyle W. Maysel:
I am writing on behalf of San Antonio College. The college is starting a fencing team in the Spring 2007 semester.
I am the current fencing instructor and will be the team coach. The students from the fall semester are anxious to start this team. Already the students have expressed their interest in competing with other college level fencers. To that end, I am inquiring as to the possible membership of San Antonio College in SWIFA.
We are aware there are only two SWIFA meets left for the year. The students are interested in any competitive status till the end of the year. We would also like to petition for full membership for the next SWIFA season.
If there are any questions, please contact me at ________ or call at 210-__________.
Thank you, Stephen S. Reyna ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Article III: Membership - Dues - Competitions ...

Texas State Univ. is just going to invade the relatives of the team mates that have family in houston. Really? Kevin told me the team had reserved rooms at the Red Carpet Inn: Hobby Regency Motor Lodge. That's were I'm staying. I booked a room for Amy, too. It's cheap and 5 or 6 minutes away from the venue.

Yea, at first Dean and Kevin were saying that it was cool for people to stay with them because they are from houston.
And My Uncle stays not too far from U of H. Yet, last night i come to if out that there parents said no... So now its Me and Nathan at my Uncles house, and im also gonna bunk the 3 foilsits.
Since Bow and Danial were gonna stay with either Dean or Kevin at there houses, now they are gonna get a larger room for the four of them. And since now its not just a room for the sake of just staying in a hotel to party, the Club will pay for it.
