It's that time of year again! As you may recall, last year SWIFA dues were increased to $550 per year and hosting schools will be alloted $1,100 to fund each tournament. With that said, as the SWIFA Treasurer, I am prepared to take your money! We need revenue to host tournaments, and I need to get out invoices to everyone ASAP. Tonight I am sending invoices and tax documents out to Baylor, TX State, U of H, UNT, and UTSA. I can not get into my old email address (swifatreasure@gmail.com), so I do not have access to old emails for other universities. SO.... Please help me get emails for the following universities (We can't run SWIFA without money from everyone): Rice Texas A&M College Station Texas A&M Corpus Christi Texas Tech Trinity University of Texas (Austin) University of Texas (Arlington) University of Texas (Dallas) If you know of any other schools we might want to recruit, let me know. I will gladly send them information about our group! In conclusion, I will post this also on the Texas Fencing Forum as well. Thanks! Grace Buchanan (SWIFA Treasurer)

My email is egallowa@uiwtx.edu Thank you! - Erin Galloway And we'd love to have IW join us! I will call a special meeting at SWIFA #3 to go through the formality of a vote by the teams to have you join. Bring your equipment and be ready to fence!

We would probably want to wait until the start of the next SWIFA season to start competing. Right now we are interested in developing our club program, and looking at dues to SWFIA and how much cost a club sport athlete would incur.

We would probably want to wait until the start of the next SWIFA season to start competing. Right now we are interested in developing our club program, and looking at dues to SWFIA and how much cost a club sport athlete would incur. Your entire club is covered for $550.00 dues for all four competitions in a season. We would prorate that ($275.00) if you want to join at mid-season.
