Alliance Fencing Academy is proud to announce that it has secured a new, permanent facility for its regular training and fencing in Houston. The facility is located near the intersection of the 610 north loop and hwy 290, and will have professional sport floor with eight regulation sized strips and modern electronic scoring equipment. The facility has 12 foot ceilings and covers about 4,700 sq. ft. Additionally, the location will have a special room for physical conditioning including weight lifting, a glassed wall observation room for parents and observers, kitchenette, and generous office space. The facility will be available for use 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, and is expected to open in August 2005. The Alliance location at The Woodlands will continue to work according to its regular schedule. For further information contact head coach Andre Geva at 713-301-7934, aluf_geva@hotmail.com or visit www.alliance-fencing-academy.com

I saw the NEW site last nite and was really stoked. The new club will be a breeding ground for national champions as well as play home for the recreational fencer.
Congrats Andrey!

Congratulations Andrey!! This adds another excellent facility to the area, and will increase the growth in fencing as well as helping elite fencing grow. This is excellent news, and we look forward to participating in your Houston Cup tournaments next year.
Augie
P.S. I know how hard you have been working on this, but now will we see you pick up a blade?

Andrey is to be congratulated. We all look forward to the grand opening of his facility. I also echo August in his question, may we perhaps see Andrey crossing blades for fun and medals someday?
