Wasn't much to watch. California 45-10. Most of the other bowls have been about as lopsided,too.

Yeah I watched the very beginning of it with my dad at Taco C and then he left to go back to Houston and I watched the rest of it at home. I thought we were doing okay in the first half.. we could have made it up like we have in other games past.. but my dad mentioned this to me before he left. He said the Aggie defense was just horrible. Has to be true because I watched the last 5 plays and was almost sick to my stomach. What the heck happened to the Wrecking Crew?! Anyway, the game was very disappointing but I watched the whole thing anyway. Also.. I'm glad their Q-back didn't take a knee and got yelled at by his coach. Just shows what jerks they really are.

Red Raiders.. Lubbock.. blahhhh.. You mean the "Hub City"? The entertainment capital of the High Plains? Home of the fightin' TEXAS TECH RED RAIDERS? Taco Flats? Where the Aggies have such a great win-loss record?[/b][/quote] With very good reason... And they still do! And always will!

High Plains.. lol.. who cares... and it's the Fightin' Texas Aggies, not Raiders. A&M is 1 of 3 schools with a full time Corps of Cadet program (what say you?), and we commission more officers than any other non-military univeristy (what say you?).. and lets not forget Robert Gates is Secretary of Defense now, what's the President of Texas Tech?? Right.. nothin! They're just mad because we won't let them be our rivals.. we have a nick name for Texas Tech.. Best Community College in Texas.

Question: What were those things on the Ohio State helmets?? At first I could have sworn they were pot leaves.

High Plains.. lol.. who cares... Interesting comment coming from someone in a wide spot in the road, located strategically between Caldwell, Montgomery, Huntsville, and let's not forget, Normangee!
Where you drive to Waco for a hot time on the town!

Darn, Waco? I always knew I was missing something when I was in College Station. I still remember my first epee tournament in College Station, and some very experienced fencers named Kyle and Rob were among my first bouts. I ended up finally getting some touches on that Kyle guy later in life. CS is the location of the Number 1 LoneStar Longkneck distribution point in the country. That says it all. Pru, you need to wait a little longer before we start bragging big time again. There was a time when the TT game was auto and even playing close was an upset, but that has changed in the last 10. Give Fran a couple more years, especially since he can recruit with his winning program now. It was like the Texans this year, the cupboard was really bare.

So you're not one of those people yelling "Can Fran" after the last two home games? haha.. true I felt the team was a million times better then the year before when I was a fish. I see them only progressing, but Fran needs to start taking some more risks, especially towards the end of the game.
[glow=red,2,300]WACO?? hahahahahahahahaha, now that's a knee slapper![/glow]

I grew up in a neighborhood with buckeye trees and I still think the things on the sides of the The Ohio State University helmets look a bit like pot leaves. Not as much like the buckeye leaves I'd see on the buckeye trees. Not to detract from buckeyes as wonderful things to throw at your friends.

Also, despite recent woes, the Aggies still have a 34-30-1 record over Tech, so I won't get too excited yet. In 4 years maybe, but Leach will move on at some point and the pendulum should swing back.

Just look up the school "mascot" and then google search it. Oh... They (Buckeyes) don't grow well down here.

I was raised in Indiana, and we had buckeyes growing in my neighborhood. I went to Purdue for a few years, spent a couple semesters on a Forestry/Wildlife Science bent. Took a class in which we ID'ed 114 different trees using twigs for the lab final. I still don't think the Buckeye stickers look like buckeye leaves.

As for texas football, I'll give Tech props for being the only college in the state without a losing record against Notre Dame (yeah the bowl hurt, give them a few years to get a few players).
