Since this is an Olympic year, there will be no coaches college in Colorado. Any ideas for someone only just now considering coaching?

Wouldn't it be nice if one of the local facilities put on a coaches school? I'd be game! I tried to attend the one for sabre at Palo Alto, but when I got there it had been canceled.

Believe me, Grace, I understand.
Down my way, the College of the Mainland in Texas City (between Houston & Galveston) was hunting for someone to teach an intro fencing course for its Continuing Education/non-credit/evening slot.
I belong to both the Galveston and Clear Lake fencing clubs, but all of our coaches are stretched to the max. I finally agreed.
I am present at both my clubs to view beginner's classes in action and the coaches I've spoken with are helpful, but I REALLY would like some formal instruction to make sure I am not neglecting something.
If you'll let me know of anything you hear, I'll tell you of anything I find...
