askfred.net/Events/whoIsComing.php?tournament_id=4661 Fencers are beginning to sign up for this veteran tournament which is part of the Southwest Region Veteran's Circuit Cup. If you are a Veteran Fencer, what are you waiting for? Sign up! This would be a nice training for the Pouj, two weekends later. REMINDER to Longblade and SW Section Webmaster. This tournament needs to be uploaded in the calendar of the South Texas Division and Southwest Section.

Thanks, Kyle! Now, our reliable SWS webmaster should be able to notice the updates at the STX divisional calendar. I have notice an increase number of fencers (particularly from GTX) signing up. I know Ray Sexton is intending to come too, but I am looking for a 2nd epee A ... (Augie?).

The tournament will be at the new location. I just return from taping and placing strips/machines. We have one full regulation grounded strip and 5 working strips.
See you there.
It is at the NE corner of O'Connor and Nacogdoches Rd. Next to a Dollar Tree store.

I'm sorry I missed it, but when I got out of the car in Austin Friday night, I started sneezing. (little known Austin Town Motto: "we have CEDAR!") By Saturday morning I was a sniveling, sightless, red-faced klenex wetter useless for anything but couch warming. I have a doctors appointment Monday to get a shot that, until this year, I have received every October for the last twelve years. I didn't get one this year because, for some reason, I had no allergic symptoms whatsoever. Until. Friday night. I hope eveyone fenced better than normal, so next time I may get the "easy bout" with some of you that I need. I sure hope to attend the next vet melee...sorry again guys

I think it is actually juniper that hits my allergies in the Hill Country.

I think it is actually juniper that hits my allergies in the Hill Country. Yes, but we call it cedar here. And it's the worst it has ever been! Zicam helps... because being able to breathe is a good thing!
