We have 3 tournaments at Salle Pouj for this season: a) Team event - March b) Youth event - December of NAC-C c) Veteran event - November Jose, It was hardly meant to be a definitive or exclusive list of all the tournaments hosted in the SoTxDiv! It certainly isn't!
Oscar and I just sat down and posted all the tournaments we knew we had to hold and the big, standing tournaments we always have in the SoTxDiv.
This is just the way our Division reserves the dates so everybody else can plan around them.
Get us some dates for your tournaments and they'll be posted, too.
As always, all tournaments in the SoTxDiv are presumed to be sanctioned by the Division unless they specifically ask for it to be otherwise for some reason. We try to work and play well with others. Steering clear of everybody else's tournaments is a large part of that.
On a side note, I also had to know what was open so I could try to find dates to schedule the four SWIFA competitions for the 2007-2008 season.

Dear Kyle and Oscar,
That is a great policy to presume all tournaments in the South Texas to be sanctioned unless otherwise decided by the organizers. Presumption of innocence has taken our country to great heights, and this lets all clubs best serve their members.
I am very impressed by the South Texas Division's national results, and I have talked to other coaches and they give credit for this to several things:
1. Great coaching 2. A great competitive environment
I hope that the GCD allows for this type of fencing development in the future. The GCD results from last year were not as good as prior years.
We look forward to sending students Jose.

BTW, LongBlade, that was a good idea posting the South Texas Officers and Tournament Schedule here. It might be handy if the other boards follow suit.
One-stop shopping and all that.
