You may (if I haven't changed things) see a couple of sub-boards of this Clubs board. I have so far created two, largely as an experiment: one for the Galveston Fencing Club and one for the Spindletop Cavaliers.
The way it is set you, you have to have the right password to get in. Those in charge of the clubs can contact me whenever they wish the password changed (if the old one gets passed around a little too much, if you know what I mean).
Additionally, I can also make them invisible. In that case you would log into the Texas Gulf Coast Fencing Forum just as usual, then either type in the url of the board into the address bar in windows OR you could leave yourself a message with a link to it and go directly there. You would STILL need the password.
The real purpose for such a board is both mundane and handy. Mass emails are fine, but email addresses change. If everyone has one place to go to see or announce that someone will not be making practice tonight or that the club needs helpers for next weekend's tournament or there has been a change as to when private lessons are available, this can be a good back-up.
If any other clubs wish one of their own let me know.
If any from GFC or Spindletop want to talk about their boards, just send me a personal message here.
Oh, before I forget, this is not exclusively offered to clubs from the Gulf Coast Division. If a club from an adjacent division wants their own sub-board I will be happy to help.
For non-USFA groups, I set them up the same, or as a sub-board of their interest (Iaido, Historical, Kendo, SCA, etc)
