Phillip has fenced with us at Salle Mauro. I should be happy the coach doesn't look like me. Dan

Hey, really nice artwork!
When does the full-sized comic book/graphic novel come out?

at the rate i work, i'll probably end up too old and arthritic to complete a whole graphic novel. how about a graphic short story?
however, this being the holidays, i did manage to get a second installment done.

"too old and arthritic" *LMAO* Some of us are twice ... or even thrice your age, and already there. And some of us would love to have your talent, Phillip!

Check again Kyle. According to your bios, Phillip has you by a year in addition to the artistic skills. Dan

yes, don't confuse me with the point-of-view character in the strip. i have indeed hit the horrible half-century mark. ( how did this happen? ) i had originally intended to make the main character someone like me, who gets into sport fencing rather later than the norm, but finally decided to go with someone who hopefully more people could identify with. while there are more fencers over 50 than i would've guessed when i started, (i was afraid i'd be the oldest guy in the room wherever i went) they're still the minority.

And although I may not be able to draw people, I do a pretty good mechanical/technical drawing. Wanna see the trophies? Maybe if I show 'em to Phillip, he'll introduce me to the model for the female foilist? What do you say, Phillip?
