There are a lot of us doing 'Classical Fencing' these days. Many are in areas where easy access to advice or advanced instruction are difficult. Some would be thankful for any help, to get their CF group going or to further support their already blossoming CF studies. Problem is, if Fencing is a widespread, disconnected community, CF is even more so. One can go for years without hearing of other CF groups, even in one's own city! David Achilleus and I at the CFS thought it might be helpful to compile information on various groups to help guide others through the murky waters of Traditional Fencing to find the resources they need to further their training in the school and style they desire. To this end, we have made available the Classical Fencing Organizational Survey on our website (click the disk on the upper right hand corner with the image that looks like a piece of paper). The survey should be filled out by individuals in charge of a particular organization or an organizations CF practice. Please only fill the survey once for each organization. Duplicates will be combined and deleted. The CFS website is at: www.cfssda.org/main.php

I would be curious about what the results of this survey turn out to be. I'm afraid this particular geographic area (Texas) has few, if any, classical salles. Certainly, there are none that I am aware of.
