Good results by the fencers of the GC Division at JO's
48 fencers from seven clubs in the GC Division competed in eleven of the twelve events in the Junior Olympic Fencing Championships in Arlington, TX, this past weekend. Four of them earned a spot in the finals.
Francesca Alexandra BASSA (Alliance Fencing Academy), JWE 6th place
Neely BRANDFIELD-HARVEY (Salle Mauro), JWE 7th place
Colin SUTTER (Salle Mauro), JMF 8th place
Daniel TRAPANI (Alliance Fencing Academy), CME 8th place
Congratulations to the fencers and their coaches. This is a great improvement from last year's JO's when the only fencer from the GC Division to make the finals was Jonathan BIBB of Alliance Fencing Academy.
