Hello!
I just wanted to thank you for some of your posts. I am a student of the classical systems of fencing and I find that some of your posts are extremely interesting - especially the fencing occuring near the turn of the 20th century.
Here it seems we begin to see the vestiges of the classical ideals transforming into their more contemporary roles in competitive fencing.
I am not so much interested in sport fencing or competitve fencing which places emphasis on offensive action. But still I find that many of your posts, again those of the early 20th C., are very informative!!
So I thank you for your time and investigations as these promote the study of the art of fencing. I truly appreciate your efforts. Thank you.
