I am getting an intermitant signal from my saber using the LP Saber bayonet. And no it was not a foil socket converted over. If I attempt to move the connector in a specific direction, I lose connection. Does this mean that my socket is defective?
Thanks for any help Chris

Is it an actual LP bodycord and socket, or is either a copy?

Both were acquired from LeonPaul.

Try taking the socket apart and the reassembling. That sometimes works for me.

How do you take apart the LP saber socket. I don't see any screws that hold it together.

If it's anything like the Prieur one, the plastic part should just slide out with a bit of coaxing and cussing.

It is most likely not the socket. Most likely it will be the bodycord. Take off the boot and back off then tighten both screws at the bottom. Then make sure the screw at the top is tight.
