I love it. Not an SSCC or "traditional" big divisional tournament , just an open with a strong turnout.

Gotta go with Ben Freiman. He had a tough day at the Van Buskirk and should be very motivated by Saturday.

As is often the case with heavy epee events, the "voting" was pretty spread out. Ultimately, Logan Crosby Koester (who got two of the 10 votes cast) took the gold in mixed epee by defeating Mike Anderson 15-5. Mr. Anderson got zero votes yet made it to second place.
Of the others who got two votes each (the most votes any of the fencers received) Jon Davis and Ben Freiman did not show. Patrick Moore took 10th in a field of 32.
Interestingly, Kai Anthony (who received no votes) tied for third with Geoffroy Seive who had not pre-registered by mid-week when I generated the poll and, thus, did not appear in the poll.
