The Oregon Knockout Needs (two of) YOU!
The Oregon Knockout is back, and we need two "Tinterns" to serve both TA and Intern duties. This year's workshop is a 2 week intensive in late May culminating in UA and SiS SPTs. The successful candidates will assist the teaching staff (CT Jonathan Cole and CT/FD Mike Mahaffey) with SPT classes in Unarmed and Single Sword, as well as other master classes with Cole, Mahaffey, CT Ted deChatelet and others.
Tinterns will be given a travel stipend (up to $200) and a per diem for the days they are in residence. Lodging will be provided. Tinterns will also be given the opportunity to coach SPT scenes and potentially teach additional master classes in the evenings and weekends, depending on experience and interest.
Applicant Minimum Qualifications:
SAFD AAC or higher; UA and SiS SPTs are a must; SPRs in both weapons is a plus
Availability: May 16-May 30, 2010
Enjoy ridiculously hard work in a fast-paced and fun atmosphere
Please send stage combat resume, letter of interest and contact info for two references who can speak to your work as a stage combatant to:
Jonathan Cole and Amanda Washko, coordinators
oregonknockout@gmail.com
Application deadline is March 1; applicants will be notified by their acceptance or denial by March 15.
