This looked intriguing for other purposes, as well...Xion Stunt PaddingAlthough Xion originally designed products for stunt applications, the Xion protective gear products serve many applications. Everybody, confronted with the risk of getting injured, either professional or leisure wise, will definitely benefit from our protective product line. Examples of applications are: stunts, extreme sports, martial arts, free running / parcour, team sports, rock climbers, cyclists, stage and screen combatants, actors and many more. Basically all situations where the "rigid" or "bony" parts of the body can be confronted with impact. Because these parts of the body always stick out and do not have a "soft" barrier like muscles or fat to reduce the impact, they will suffer the most damage and should be protected. Specs

Might make an interesting replacement for chest/breast protectors...

Ah, a no-newtonian fluid/solid!
High pressures elicit a solid state. The same can be done with corn starch and water (although I must add, protection is minimal)

I believe that's the stuff originally developed in the Army's Advanced Warfighter lab (lots of cool stuff there). It didn't really live up to what they wanted and is starting to hit civilian applications now.

Considering the number of times I have accidentally "parried" with the pinkie on my weapon hand, that early part of the demo showing how it could protect the hand looked pretty good, as well.
Their prices seem rather steep, but there is nothing else quite like it on the market to compare it to.
Overall, I might consider hand/torso pieces.
