COUNTY MUSEUM TO PRESENT FINAL LECTURE IN SERIES FOR TEXAS ARCHAEOLOGY MONTH. October is Texas Archeology Month. The Brazoria County Historical Museum is presenting the last of four lectures. This lecture will be presented at the Brazoria County Historical Museum and is free and open to the public. To be held on October 28th at 6:30 p.m., the final lecture features Flem Rogers of the Brazoria Historical Militia discussing "Weapons of the Texas Revolution: How the Texians Armed Themselves". Mr. Rogers, a nationally recognized gun historian, will examine how the Texian Army and Navy acquired arms for its military. His presentation will be highlighted by period armaments on loan for the event. All programs are sponsored by the Brazoria County Historical Museum located at 100 East Cedar Street.
