Why do I have a feeling that, next to this, the version with Keifer Sutherland, Charlie Sheen and Oliver Platt will seem faithful?

Well, the one positive thing is here comes another movie with swordplay, which can't be bad for the fencing world.

Well, as it has been many decades since I read The Three Musketeers, and as my memory is not what it was in my younger days, I can't say for an absolute certainty that there weren't flying ships and flame-throwing statues in the books. So I'll reserve final judgment.
