I found this on YouTube.
"A man suspected of robbing over a dozen stores in the Columbia area finally met his match when a store clerk pulled a sword on him.
Sheriff Leon Lott announced Tuesday the arrest of 52-year-old Brad Grayland Vinson for 11 counts of armed robbery and one count of kidnapping.
Lott said Vinson was caught after he walked into a Shell Station at 7441 Parklane Road on January 13 and demanded cash from the clerk. Vinson indicated he had a handgun in his pocket and tried to go behind the counter where the clerk was standing, according to investigators. The clerk then pulled out a samurai sword and chased Vinson out of the store.
After Vinson fell in the parking lot, the clerk then began hitting the suspect with the sword to subdue him until deputies arrived.
Vinson was able to get away from the clerk and fled on foot on Springtree Drive where a Richland County Deputy was patrolling. Lott said that Vinson ran into the tree line and deputies found him hiding in some bushes at the Greenbriar Apartments and arrested him."
