Trevor Pedersen was 7th in the Cadet Men's epee, and this is his second consecutive final, (5th in Tucson where he lost to the top Canadian pointholder Boulva). It seemed like he was fencing Canadian after Canadian after Canadian. He made the top 12 directly, and lost to Lavoie from Canada to go to the losers side of repecharge. He beat another Canadian to make the finals and fenced Lavoie again. He had developed a good strategy and on his move to score 3 - 1 he seemed to jam his middle finger of his sword hand. He could not hold the epee properly and tried to game through it and lost about 15 - 12 or 13. It was a good day, especially since he did not bring his best game to the NAC and had to overcome himself in bout after bout.
In the Juniors he lost to Kian Ameli in the DEs. I saw Daniel Trapani in the top 8 and Dylan Smith lost in the 12 in a very lively bout. Dina had a kidney stone in Cadet Women's, and Andrey spent 17 hours in ER on Saturday. I am pretty certain Ben Freiman made the 24 in Cadet Epee, but I was running around and not able to keep up.

uhm, wow...
Thanks, Augie, that definitely qualifies as "color commentary."
I hope Dina, Andrey etc are well...
Serious congrats to Trevor, Daniel and Dylan.
