As I wrote in the NCAA 2006 thread, on Saturday some folks from a company called Live Sports Video arrrived at the J. W. Marriot to set up for a live webcast of the semifinals and finals in the three men's events at the NCAA Fencing Championships.
They had everything set up Saturday afternoon. What turned out to be unfortunate, was that they had to use the ISP that services the hotel.
The plan was to start the webcast at noon on Sunday to catch foil and epee.
As it turned out, the powers that be with the hotel's ISP shut down the connection on Sunday morning for some maintenance or re-routing (a result of storm damage a week or two earlier... that part stayed unclear). The upshot was that there was no foil/epee webcast.
Thanks to Cathy Dean and some others, the proper people were yanked out of their day off and got the connection back up in time for the later sabre webcast.
My question, did anyone see it?

Yes.
The video was okay, not great, but I gather this is their first trial run at fencing.
Hotel ballrooms are also notoriously poorly lit for video...
