Just for fun, I thought we'd try something different for our April Member of the Month. Instead of lining up 6-8 members to run against each other, we will just have two "fence off" with public opinion.
Since our last few Members of the Month have tended to sabre, let's make April a contest between two epeeistes.
So, on strip:
thecarpinator
the6dark6knight6
Fencing time ends at midnight on the night of March 31st...

This time, yes.
You know me, I'll keep playing with formats until one sticks...

if the dark Knight is who I think it is(that is, if the smell of his glove can be used to repell saburests) then he gets my vote. Dude is just so much better than me that I question my manhood after every loss to him. He beat me once in a DE 15-3; my first point was a double early, and the last two he gave me after he got to 14, so I had some face to save. I WILL beat him someday, and if I have to bend a few rules (or cheat outright damit) so be it. just kidding. che.

This time, yes. You know me, I'll keep playing with formats until one sticks... Personally, I like the different formats - it keeps things interesting!

Carpenter executes a brilliant fleche attack on Reed. Touch arrives. Score Carpenter 4-Reed 2.

Actually, looking above your post to the current "score" it looks more like a 6-6 tie right now. This one may go to la belle!

Shiner provokes thecarpinator to wander off strip then return and unzips his jacket. Red card!

You may be right. The bar graph says 14 votes have been cast and that's on the high end of vote totals for most of the polls on this board.

14 of 109...
That's a little better than 10%, better than some elections in this country.

I don't think there's been a new vote in five days. Perhaps the ref should make a call for passivity.
