I took the liberty of fixing an obvious typo for you, Augie. I also added the date in the topic headers and "stickied" your posts. Hope you don't mind.
Good luck with the new location!

The Div. II is up to 15 and a C1, and we need more competitors for the Open to make it an A1. I have some more people that are out this weekend that normally would be fencing. Jett missed his A last weekend and may want another shot. Fencing with hundreds of people watching during the day is an experience. Please remember that we are inside the mall, and call 281-644-4994 with direction issues. We are between Outdoor World and Rainforest, and enter entrance 4 for the closest entry. askfred.net/Events/whoIsComing.php?tournament_id=3908

Robert Reed won the Open Epee 15 - 13 over Davis. The results will be posted tomorrow. There were only 12 so it was an E1 instead of an A1, we only needed 3 live bodies. We had three younger fencers waiting for the Div. II tomorrow.
We have space available because of the Fred outage, so call me at 281-644-4994 if you want to register.

OK so things didn't work out as planned. I went undefeated through 2 rounds of pool bouts, was seeded first, won my first DE, and then proceded to get trounced by Joel B. He always seems to know how to get by my tricks, but he was having a bad day 'till fate put him on the other side of the strip from me. He was seeded 8th but took me down easy, and then lost to another KatyBlades fencer in the next round. The cool thing is that three (3) C ranked fencers made it to the top eight, but the gold medal bout was fenced by 2 'D's...both KatyBlade fencers. I'm happy to report that after many years of hard work, Chase Skopik is now a C07!!! We also had 2 "E" rankings earned. Congrats also go out to James(Jim) Prendergast and Sean Casey, both local fencers who done good.
