I am the first to admit my background is largely generic, USFA-fencing with some classical work. I also had some period work, mostly with Richard Alvarez and on the odd occasion a Ducklin workshop and couple of quickie lessons from Dakao DO. I am familiar with the SCA but don't know anyone currently into their fencing. I have encountered souls of various persuasions in ARMA (nee HACA). ...but Dagohir and Belegarth?? What the? ? The Belegarth site states they have a local group: HOUSTONIA Houston, TX Contact Name: Jamie Purcell Contact Number: (281) 218-9298 Comments: Practices are held on Friday evinings 6:30-8:00pm at Frankie Carter Randolf Park (Friendswood) It seems they also play in Fort Worth: CITADEL OF ALFHIEM Fort Worth, TX Contact Name: Sathallarin Contact Number: (817) 560-1662 www.geocities.com/AlfhiemComments: We meet at Thorny Ridge Park on sundays at 2pm in fort worth at the intersection of normandale and dale lanes Dagohir does not. They do, however, seem to have found homes in Austin, Kerrville and in Dallas! This appears to be the personal web page of one of Dagohir's crack warriors. I've never faced a Hobgoblin before. Nor, for that matter, had a fencing organization which used Elvish fonts.

That's close to me. You want I should grab a few toys and check them out? That might not be nice. You may not have noticed, but they don't use weapons made of steel. They seem to use only nerf weapons. I guess we could go by Louise's store and purchase a couple of wacky-whackers! Oh, and in case you missed it, the Belegarth site links to videos!

Well, maybe it's high time they graduated.
I was never able to successfully bring the link up, so I don't know what their site looks like. Hobgoblins, eh?

Yes. Beware of facial tatoos and a disconnect from reality.

ok, the videos made my night.... that's what I call must see tv! I especially like the guy with the giant hammer! I'm impressed though that I didn't hear more of the ol' "I got you!" "No you didn't!!!" kind of thing.
