Fly wishes Robert and his parents a fond farewell as they move to Calgary, Canada for a year. Safe journies to the Wooley Family! We'll miss you in the GCD!

Bummer!
Robert is a good fencer and his family are genuinely great people.
Get back, soon!

I will miss Robert because he perfectly illustrated the value of taking up epee after you already have a strong foil background.
He seems a friendly yet serious fencer. I hope he returns as soon as possible.
OTOH, since he does fence epee and is off to Canada, he might consider looking up the Goldie family.

Let me go on record as saying the Wooley Family are great people. I have enjoyed watching Robert fence and his skills refine. Now I have to break the news to Jacob Stern tonight...

As I currently have a project in Calgary, I have the opportunity to visit with Robert & family (as I did this past week). I'm happy to say that they have found their way to Epic Fencing where the Goldies fence. I expect great things from our friend, Robert. I was able to arrange my schedule this past trip to have dinner with the Wooleys & to accompany them to the salle to check it out for my future trips. It is a very nice facility with a very nice coach. Unfortunately, Brad Goldie was traveling for work & wasn't in attendance. But, rest assured, all is well with the Wooleys.

I got confused on where to find him. Silly me. The "National Division," of course, since he is in Canada!
Thanks for the newsbyte, kb. He's a truly good guy.
Have an exalt, on me.

FYI - Robert now a double B. Anybody know how he's doing in Canada?

The last report I had from Melinda is that he is busy with SAT tests, college applications and still doing well in fencing!
