Last week, when I updated the rogue site, on the Swordsman's Theatre page I embedded clips of each of the sword duels depicted in Ridley Scott's The Duellists. I will be updating the site again, tonight and those clips will be rotated out for others. I got a lot of very nice emails fom fans of that film (who knew there would be so many?) who enjoyed it and did not want to pull a switch without folks having a heads up.

That was, and remains, a great film. The acting was superb. Scott remains one of my all-time favorite directors.
I actually sought out the Conrad story because of this film.

Glad you liked it, Aldo. As stated, I have updated various pages on the rogue site including Swordsman's Theatre. For the next week it shows four versions of Hamlet's fencing bout/duel with Laertes. Two duels from Franco Zefferelli's Romeo & Juliet, some pieces combining fencing, stage combat, dance and classical music, three looks at Spanish rapier fencing as visualized by the entertainment media and some clips from the short-lived, Queen of Swords TV series... Some are fun, some are cool and some are silly.
