No mixed event, this time the candidates were selected from the 5 female forum members with the greatest number of posts.
The poll closes midnight, Sunday night April 30th.

I guess my vote was easy to guess in advance.

No offense to the other ladies!

No offense to the other ladies! Sorry, you may not have noticed, but for the time being, once you get to be a Member of the Month, you don't get to run again. You were our first MotM and Saberbobcat was the second. As long as we have a reasonable number of moderately active members, I plan to generate the candidate pools from those who have yet to be MotM. I trust this does not upset anyone. (We'll probably "recycle" past winners sometime next year).

I voted for Maupin since she is the wife of the very nice man who gives us this forum...
and I feel it is very important to suck up to the boss...

Intriguing, I feel so... insulted. While I administer this forum, it is well I don't treat this place as though I'm "the boss." Anyway, votes for my wife will not win points with me. (Besides, this is just a glorified bulletin board, what perks could I possibly have anyone would want?) sigh

Ignore nemo (smart people do).
I didn't really know these ladies so I went through the members function above and read (or re-read) their posts.

You don't know me? *gasps* Well, maybe I'm not attending enough local USFA tournments anymore. I used to fence at Westchester, now with Texas A&M.

Could I put in a suggestion that people consider tournaments attended and service to the USFA in their choices? jazz007 serves as a referee at many tournaments, has been a National Bout Committee trainee, and dedicated a substantial part of her life to fencing these days. (As I'm sure have the others)

True that should matter, and I'm just a poor college student without a car..taking 17 hours and involved in a lot of other organizations besides fencing.. so not much I can do for the USFA.

omg haha.. yeah sometimes I wish I could just quit school and fence. But then I stop day dreaming and realize that if I did that I'd be working at McDonalds for the rest of my life and still be living with my parents. ::shiver:: Well, gotta get back to work and finish this history paper before I can get some sleep. I have classes starting at 9:10am, and if I don't finish this soon I'll be behind schedule. ::sigh:: I'm such a procrastinating perfectionist!
