Since this event's pre-registrants consist of 2 Es & 5 Us, I am listing them all...

Yeah, talk about "anyone's game."

Latimer and Seiler in the final. Which one wins it depends on who is having an "on" day. Tees isn't going to be there, she had tickets to Paul McCartney in Dallas some time ago....

This is me taking lessons, practicing, and hoping. It'll suck to drive from Austin and lose, in all honesty. Still, I agree with anyone's game. Ogrod added, so it's up to 8 if we all show. I really only know the other two from UTFC, though, and the outcome on the three of us depends on who's fencing on and who's not.

Well the voting was pretty near evenly split, so Lattimer's win was not exactly an upset.

Nice work, aaai! As far as I know, Formanek has left the section - last I heard, she was injured but otherwise doing well, only in Arkansas or Alabama, I forget which. The other 5 UTFC women are still fencing, though Stephens is in for a rough semester both this and next.

Formanek is in Arkansas, so still in the Section, though in the Ark-La-Miss Division and definitely not fencing due to an injury. Don't know when she'll be back.
