FRED is showing 12 pre-registrants, with 2 Ds and 4 Es at the top of the classificiations...

Tough call, so I'll go with Tees just because of how well she did at the last SSCC (and because of her coach).

Its probably going to be Tees vs Latimer in one semi, and the other semi is Seiler vs Scarborough. I'll say Tees taking it all, of course against Seiler in the gold, but its going to depend on how well everyone is doing. Tees, Latimer or Seiler COULD win against Scarborough's epeecentric game, but only if they're smart enough to adjust. Too bad that Jeffus and Schnieder aren't coming - that would really mix things up.

I went back and forth between Tees, Latimer and Scarborough. Largely depends on who has the better day as far as nullifying the others' techniques. I went with Scarborough.

Any reason people are counting out Anjea? She doesn't fence sabre too often, but she was still quite good when I last faced her.

In my case it is simple lack of knowledge. OTOH, with your vote she is now tied with Melissa Tees where the smart money's concerned...

I voted Tees, although I should have voted "someone else," to demonstrate some kind of confidence in my own fencing, but I haven't been working out consistently and haven't had a lesson in a month (my own fault). I'm currently sans lame, so we'll see if I get to fence or if I sit it out to work with Terry in the BC, but my odds aren't good anyway.

Tease! Here I thought that would have taken it to 14 fencers and made it likely we could throw someone into sabre gear and hand them their club so we could have a D1.
Oh, well. There's still... a little time.

I say it's too much advertising for David Sierra.

Hehee. Aye, you've found me out. Anyway, gods I had fun this weekend. 8th place isn't much, but darn it, it's the first time I've fenced my way into the top 8, and I'm thrilled. And Melissa Tees beat the tar out of me, 15-2. David has taught her well. kd5mdk - I say it's not enough advertising for sabre chicks, so I guess it depends on your perspective
