As of this writing, FRED shows 2 Cs & 2 Ds pre-registered.

At the moment, this is a nice little tournament where hopefully some new people will have a change to earn ratings (any of the ranked fencers losing to a lower classified one would cause that, I think.

Goins renewed her C last year, so I'll take a shot on her.

Just one word, "Scarborough."

There appears to have been a change, as Ms. Goins is not listed in the preliminary seeding posted and Alison Brown, a competent C from Gold Blade, has been added.
Perhaps the risk of Ms. Scarborough winning all three women's events is not as great.

Too true, there is also the fatigue factor to allow for. Even for superb athletes, competing in three events along with the different conventions (and lack thereof) can play havoc physically and mentally.
According to the schedule, W/F and W/S are only staggered an hour off each other.
As well, the other D in the mix, Rogers from A&M, can be quite effective. Now if Goins is out and Brown in, the possibilities change quite a bit.

Alison Brown won women's foil, but she was pre-registered on FRED too late to make it in the poll (unless you count the single vote for "someone else."
