Mauro sent me this press release. Looks like Ben and Neely are taking off.

Ben Parkins and Neely Brandfield-Harvey from Salle Mauro, have made the USFA's Cadet National Teams and will compete at the April 2006 Cadet World Championships in Jeonju City, South Korea.
Parkins, a seventeen-year-old junior at The Woodlands College Park High School began fencing foil at age seven. He recently picked up a silver medal at the 2006 Junior Olympics in Hartford.
Brandfield-Harvey is fifteen years old and attends the Awty International School. She was the National Champion in the Youth 14 Division last year.

I had the oppertunity to go to Korea last summer. I had to miss nationals because of it. It was one of the best trips of my life, Korea is an awsome country! They even love Americans...they should have an awsome time.

Greetings from Korea.... I'm actually team captain, not coach.... and of course Christa French, Courtney Hurley and Kelly Hurley will be representing Texas in Junior WE with Paul Pesthy as coach.
