I'll have to go with Tees. She's becoming quite the rising star.

I'll be contrary and go with Latimer. It could easily go her way.

I am least knowledgeable in sabre, but Tees accomplishments are hard to ignore. She gets my vote.

I'm going to have to figure fox and Aldo N either had the same crystal ball or were just on the same wavelength. Both accurately pegged Melissa Tees to take first place.

Its worth mentioning that Melissa took an elbow sting in the beginning of the gold medal bout. Bells clashed together, and she took a jam that compressed the nerve in her weapon arm. No inflamation, no dislocation, no tears or anything out of place, but an incredible amount of pain (same nerve that hurts when you hit your 'funny bone' but a lot worse). After a ten minute injury time out, the trainer examining it and ice to bring the stinging down, she got back up and fenced the rest of the bout, which ended 15-14 on a beautiful action. Incredible mental toughness. No perminant injury, thank heavens, but she was very tender in that elbow for the rest of the day!

Glad she is better. She certainly looks happy enough, here.
