The following comes from another site. I do encourage visits to Four Winds. It is a small faire, but has a very enjoyable human chessmatch (stage combat) and competitive jousts...Well its almost time for the first faire to open in the upcoming 2007 Texas faire circuit. Four Winds Faire located just South of Tyler, TX will be opening it 13th season run on Saturday March 3rd. This years faire features more entertainment, vendors, and performers than ever before. Lest I forget to mention our full contact joust team has been preparing all off season to put on the biggest and best joust show ever. The faire is still a BYOB event and the campgrounds are ready and waiting with a hot and cold fully fixtured showerhouse and limited RV electric/water hookups. Also added this year is a Royal Pass Holder area next to the Braided Rose. For more information on tickets and what to expect at the faire this year go to www.fourwindsfaire.com. On another note Saturay night March 3rd after faire closes there will be a opening weekend party in the campgrounds weather permitting in the firepit area by the creek. Bring your own libations. Limited food will be provided (my Tequilla Pork Loin) so anybody who wants to contribute bring something with them... James
